Job Description

General Labor in a Pipe Yard. Position consists of inspection of new and used drill pipe to detect defects that originate in manufacturing or drilling. Work with an Operator and Crew on site or location. Fast paced environment performing inspection of pipe end areas, including connection, visual testing and mechanical gauging of threads with magnetic particle testing for flaws, and ultrasonic wall thickness gauging. Work with the crew at a well site inspection, which assesses the condition of pipe sequently as it is pulled from the well, provide a visual image of footage depths to determine its condition.
